I first heard Lucy Rose on the song Flaws by Bombay Bicycle Club. More about that in a minute. This track, The Racket is from her latest solo album,"This Ain't The Way You Go Out". It's the final track on the album and is written as a thank you to her Son for helping her through a period of ill health.
To pair with this I've chosen Flaws from Bombay Bicycle Club’s 2010 album of the same name. I like to think of this track as a hidden gem. It has Lucy Rose down as singing backing vocals but to me it’s more if a duet with neither part being backing to the other.
